In plain language: StepDancePH is a free directory. We do not take payments, we do not take a cut, and we do not verify every detail of every listing. We are not responsible for wrong pricing, cancelled classes, injuries, or disputes between instructors and dancers. You book and pay the instructor directly, and any issue is between you and them.

1. About StepDancePH & Acceptance of Terms

StepDancePH is a free-to-list online marketplace and directory that helps dance and fitness instructors publish class information so dancers across the Philippines can discover and contact them. We are a discovery and listing platform only — not a dance studio, school, employer, agent, broker, booking system, payment processor, or party to any agreement between an instructor and a dancer. No financial transaction of any kind takes place on, through, or because of this website. By listing a class, browsing the marketplace, or using any StepDancePH service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Listing a Class (For Instructors)

Any dance or fitness instructor may list a class on the StepDancePH marketplace free of charge by emailing hello@stepdanceph.com with their class name, discipline, level, schedule, location, price, and a short description. We review and publish listings at our sole discretion, usually within 1–2 business days. Listings are free: we charge no listing fee and take no commission on any class booked through the marketplace. You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate and up to date; request changes by emailing us. We may decline, edit, or remove any listing at any time and for any reason, including listings that are misleading, incomplete, inaccurate, or that violate these Terms.

3. No Financial Transactions on This Website

StepDancePH does not, under any circumstances, accept, process, hold, transmit, or facilitate payments, deposits, refunds, escrow, or any other financial transaction. No money passes through this website. We do not take bookings, reservations, or payments; we do not issue invoices or receipts; we do not collect, store, or handle credit card, bank, e-wallet, or any payment information. Any pricing shown on a listing is provided by the instructor, not by StepDancePH, and StepDancePH takes no portion of it. All booking, scheduling, payment, and refund arrangements are made entirely and directly between the instructor and the dancer, outside of and unrelated to this website.

4. Accuracy of Listings, Pricing & Schedules

All information shown on a listing — including instructor name, discipline, level, schedule, location, contact details, and pricing — is supplied by the instructor and has not been independently verified by StepDancePH for accuracy, completeness, currency, or truthfulness. We do not guarantee that any listing, price, schedule, or contact detail is correct, current, or available. Pricing in particular may change at any time and without notice to us. StepDancePH is not responsible for wrong, outdated, incomplete, or misleading listings, incorrect pricing, cancelled or rescheduled classes, or any consequence of relying on information published on the marketplace. Dancers must confirm all details directly with the instructor before booking or paying.

5. Booking & Paying for a Class (For Dancers)

When you find a class on the marketplace, you contact the instructor directly to book and arrange payment. Each instructor sets their own rates, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies, which apply solely to your booking with that instructor — not to StepDancePH. Please confirm pricing, schedule, and the instructor's cancellation and refund terms before booking. StepDancePH has no involvement in, and accepts no responsibility for, refunds, disputes, overcharges, non-delivery of a class, or any issue arising from a class you book with an instructor. Any complaint about a class must be directed to the instructor, not to StepDancePH.

6. Limitation of Liability & No Warranty

StepDancePH is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, StepDancePH, its operators, owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of money, loss of a class, wasted travel, injury, or disappointment — arising from: (a) the use of or inability to use the marketplace; (b) any listing, price, schedule, or contact detail being wrong, incomplete, or outdated; (c) any act or omission by an instructor or dancer, including no-shows, poor instruction, unsafe conditions, or fraud; (d) any booking, payment, or dispute between an instructor and a dancer; or (e) any injury or loss occurring at or in connection with a class. Because we process no payments and take no commission, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the marketplace is limited to zero (₱0). You acknowledge that StepDancePH is a free service and that no financial relationship exists between you and StepDancePH.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StepDancePH, its operators, owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your listing, including its accuracy, pricing, and content; (b) your conduct as an instructor or dancer; (c) any class you teach or attend; (d) any booking, payment, refund, or dispute between you and another user; or (e) your breach of these Terms. This indemnity survives the termination or removal of your listing.

8. Conduct & No Endorsement

Instructors and dancers are expected to treat each other with respect. StepDancePH is a discrimination-free space. Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal of a listing or removal from the marketplace. StepDancePH does not employ, partner with, vet beyond a basic listing review, endorse, warrant, or guarantee the conduct, qualifications, safety, identity, or quality of any instructor or dancer listed on the marketplace. The presence of a listing is not a recommendation. You use the marketplace and engage with other users entirely at your own risk.

9. Health & Safety

Dance and fitness are physical activities that carry inherent risk of injury. You participate in any class listed on the marketplace at your own risk and confirm that you are physically able to take part. Instructors are solely responsible for the safe delivery, supervision, and insurance of their own classes. StepDancePH is not liable for any injury, illness, death, property damage, or other loss arising from a class arranged through the marketplace, whether caused by the instructor, the venue, another participant, or otherwise.

10. Taxes, Permits & Business Obligations

StepDancePH is not a party to any transaction and does not collect, remit, withhold, or report any tax, including income tax, VAT, percentage tax, or local business tax. Instructors are solely responsible for registering their business, securing any required permits and licenses, declaring and paying all applicable taxes on income earned from their classes, and complying with Philippine tax and business regulations. Dancers are responsible for any taxes applicable to them. StepDancePH does not provide tax advice and accepts no responsibility for any instructor's or dancer's tax obligations or non-compliance.

11. Third-Party Links & Platforms

Listings may contain links to third-party websites and platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Viber, GCash, Maya, or bank transfer details. These are provided by the instructor and are not controlled or endorsed by StepDancePH. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, or availability of any third-party site or payment method, or for any loss arising from your use of them.

12. Intellectual Property

Each instructor retains ownership of their own choreography, branding, and class content. By listing a class, you grant StepDancePH a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your submitted text, schedule, pricing, and contact details on the marketplace for the purpose of promoting your class. You may not record, reproduce, or distribute another instructor's class content without their prior written consent.

13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute between you and StepDancePH shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably in writing. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. You expressly agree that StepDancePH is not a proper party to any dispute between an instructor and a dancer regarding a booking, payment, refund, or class, and such disputes must be resolved directly between those parties. No class action or representative action may be brought against StepDancePH.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the marketplace after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.
