In plain language: StepDancePH is a free directory. We only collect what instructors choose to publish and the messages you send us. We never process payments and never store payment data — all booking and payment happens directly between you and the instructor.
1. Information We Collect
StepDancePH is a free-to-list marketplace that connects dance and fitness instructors with dancers. When an instructor lists a class, we collect the details they choose to publish — instructor name, class title, discipline, level, location, schedule, pricing, and a contact method such as an email, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok link. When you email us, we also receive the name, address, and content of your message. We collect basic, aggregated usage data such as which listing pages are viewed. Importantly, we do NOT collect, process, or store any payment information — no credit card, bank, or e-wallet details — because no financial transaction takes place on this website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use listing information to publish and display classes on the marketplace so dancers can find and contact instructors. We use messages you send us to review, publish, update, or remove listings and to respond to your questions. We never sell your personal data to third parties, and we take no commission on any class booked through the marketplace.
3. Bookings & Payments Happen Elsewhere
StepDancePH does not take bookings, reservations, or payments, and no financial transaction of any kind occurs on this website. Any personal or payment information you share with an instructor when booking a class — such as your name, contact details, or payment method — is collected and handled by that instructor on their own platform or channel, not by StepDancePH. We do not store, process, transmit, or have access to your booking or payment information, and we are not responsible for how instructors handle it.
5. Data Retention
We keep listing information published for as long as a class is active, and retain messages for as long as needed to manage the marketplace. Instructors may request that their listing be updated or removed at any time. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the limited information we hold. Because we do not process payments, we do not collect or store any credit card, bank, or payment card details on our own servers, which greatly reduces the risk of financial data exposure.
7. Your Rights
Consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and other Philippine data privacy law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to its processing. 8. Minors
Instructors may list classes for children, but any dancer under 18 must have a parent or guardian arrange booking and provide consent directly with the instructor. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without verified parental consent.
9. Third-Party Links & Platforms
Listings may link to third-party websites and platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, GCash, or Maya) that are outside our control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal or payment information with them.
10. Limitation of Liability for Data & Listings
Because StepDancePH is a free, non-transactional directory, we are not liable for the accuracy of listings, the handling of your data by instructors or third-party platforms, or any loss arising from a booking or payment made directly with an instructor. We provide the marketplace on an "as is" basis without warranty. For the full limitation of liability, see our Terms of Service.
